
Handling of the Go To Travel Campaign for Nationwide Travel in Light of the State of Emergency Declaration

We would like to provide an update regarding the handling of the Go To Travel campaign for nationwide travel in light of the state of emergency declaration.

With regard to the Go To Travel Campaign, participation in the program has been temporarily suspended nationwide from Monday, December 28, Reiwa 2, through Monday, January 11, Reiwa 3.
In light of the recent declaration of a state of emergency, we would like to inform you that we have decided to extend the temporary suspension of this program’s services related to nationwide travel.
1. Policy on Nationwide Travel in Response to the State of Emergency Declaration
(1) Handling of New and Existing Reservations: Regardless of whether they are new or existing reservations, participation in this program will be temporarily suspended nationwide from Tuesday, January 12, through Sunday, February 7.
*Please note that, as has been the case, sales of travel and lodging products for dates on or after Monday, February 1, are not permitted under this program.
2. Cancellation Policy
(1) Handling of New and Existing Reservations: For existing reservations under (1) (defined as reservations for trips covered by this program made by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7), cancellations will be permitted free of charge from 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, through Sunday, January 17.
*If a traveler has already paid a cancellation fee to the business, the traveler may request a refund from the business.
We may contact customers who have made reservations during the applicable period to confirm their reservations.
