Notice Regarding the Introduction of a Lodging Tax in Okinawa Prefecture and Ishigaki City (Effective February 1, 2027)

A lodging tax will be introduced in Okinawa Prefecture and Ishigaki City for stays beginning Monday, February 1, 2027.
Accordingly, we will be charging a separate lodging tax as described below. We appreciate your understanding.

Tax Rate: 2% of the accommodation fee* per person per night (excluding tax) 〈Maximum tax amount: 2,000 yen〉　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 *The accommodation fee refers to the room-only rate per person per night (excluding meals and consumption tax) plus the applicable service charge.

Even for reservations made through a travel agency, payment is generally due upon arrival; however, payment methods may vary depending on the terms of the travel agency’s contract. Please contact the travel agency where you made your reservation for details.
